Design/Build

Design/build is a method of project delivery in which one entity, the design/builder, forges a single contract with the owner to provide for architectural/engineering design and construction services. The potential benefits of this project delivery method include:

Because of the unique qualifications of the Principals of JWR Construction Services, the “Teaming” necessary to make design/build successful is inherent in the company culture. At JWR we have been performing design/build services for the past 37 years. Our research has shown that design/build, when compared with traditional design and low-bid contracting, is 33% faster, 6% less in unit cost, superior in product quality, and generates less than half the claims and litigation.

For 41 years, JWR Construction Services, Inc. has provided design/build, general contracting, construction management, owner agency and pre-construction consulting for clients throughout Florida. However, what has differentiated JWR from its peers is that the founders of the firm have consistently adhered to two operating principles. First, build a strong relationship with your client and second, remain involved in the production of services on their behalf. Both, Jerry W. DuBois, CGC and Dustin DuBois have combined their professional experience in order to provide clients these principles and services. This combination of experienced general contractor and service oriented professional gave birth to a business plan that elevated general contracting to

a new standard of service and professionalism. Today this culture continues through every employee at every level.

JWR Construction Services in-house and experienced professionals are fully versed in all phases of a project, from pre-construction and site due diligence through owner occupancy.
